I am a lifelong spurs fan and Englishman living in Istanbul and as well as adopting Besiktas as my turkish team (after watching 2 games live in their atmospheric stadium) I am passionately converting as many of my turkish colleagues as possible to follow spurs.

Their growing interest has led to many interesting questions , some of which I have posted here.

After Thursdays win against Lyon over two legs I was asked today if spurs could challenge for the league title in England next year ?

Well how did I answer ?

I said if we can finish in the top 4 this year , buy a good striker in the summer , keep Bale and lastly put in a good performance against Inter then I think we can.

Am I being deluded ?
