Come chat with CFC as Spurs travel to the Stade Gerland hoping to advance in the UEFA Europa League.
Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today, Tottenham travel to Lyon with a 2-1 lead in their Europa League tie with Olympique Lyonnais. Tottenham only hold this slim lead thanks to two spectacular free kicks from Gareth Bale. Spurs may want to produce a few more chances from open play tonight, especially if Lyon get an early goal.
Both sides have thrown out very strong teams. Tottenham continues with the Gallas and Vertonghen defensive pairing in front of Brad Friedel. Gallas looked alright last week, so hopefully he can continue to not look horrible. It looks like Bale will be playing in the middle again, this time flanked by Holtby.
