Nigel Adkins is the latest to be sacked, which is kind of surprising because he's the guy who brought them up from League One. Southampton sits outside of the relegation zone and while they're only 3 points out they're looking good. They just fought back from 2-0 down to draw Chelsea and they drew Arsenal shortly before that. Those are teams that a recently promoted struggler should be happy to tie. It doesn't make a lot of sense, and sacking Adkins apparently didn't make a lot of sense to our predictors either because absolutely nobody picked him as headed for the chop.
On the positive side, it makes updating the scores pretty easy for me.
