Jordan Archer has joined Wycombe Wanderers on an emergency loan.

Tottenham Hotspur Goalkeeper Jordan Archer has joined League Two side Wycombe Wanderers on an emergency seven-day loan. Archer, 19, is a Scottish U-21 International who joined the Tottenham Hotspur Academy in 2009.

Archer is perhaps the brightest goalkeeping prospect in the Tottenham system, and his performances saw him invited to travel with the Spurs First Team to the USA for this season's preseason tour. Archer's only previous loan experience came last season with Bishop's Stortford of the Conference North (the English 6th Division).

Archer is joining a Wycombe Wanderers side that are struggling, with just four points through seven games and only one place out of relegation. Archer will cover for the injured duo of cover for injured duo Nikki Bull (thigh strain) and Matt Ingram (knee). If Archer plays well, he may just earn himself an extension on his loan or see new clubs come asking for his services.
