Goal.com have reported a statement from Lyon which basically says that on the 26th August we submitted a bid which was accepted. We then spoke to the player, and now Levy has changed the deal making a lower bid. Basically he put in a bid to get the permision to speak to and presumably unsettle the player, and then bowled a low one.

Man, Levy has some balls, but he must be hated by his opposite numbers just about everywhere!

It cracks me up, and I suppose it works...my guess is that we will sign him for less than £12M. It makes me feel a bit dirty, a bit naughty and ashamed though.
