Let's be honest, this summer has been a bit of a trying time for all of us here at this blog. There's been comment arguments and behind the scenes writer and editor arguments. There's been bans of commentors (and that one time when Uncle Menno banned himself). Tottenham Hotspur hired a new manager and even signed some new players. As fans we have had to deal with constant transfer rumors about players coming and going. Quite frankly, we need something really good to happen in the next week for us.
The only way, in my mind, for something good to happen to us is if we can somehow manufacture some postive sports karma for Tottenham Hotspur. How do we do that? Well, by making some embarrassing admissions about ourselves and hoping that it is enough to appease the football gods into helping us do something exciting in the next week.
Just so you know, amnesty rules will be in full effect for this. Things said in the karma thread are encouraged to stay in the karma thread, though you’re dumb if you don’t think allusions will be made.
My confessions after the jump.
- When I was a child I occasionally played the board game Pretty Pretty Princess with my little sister. I always won.
- My roommate and I almost came to blows last night because he ran my baking stone and cast iron skillet through the dishwasher.
- I'm not a big fan of "Call Me Maybe", but that new song Carly Rae Jepsen does with Owl City is catchy.
- My girlfriend asked me to teach her how to play video games. I said I would, but every time she asks if we can play something I make up an excuse not to.
