Anyways, Tottenham Hotspur face West Brom this weekend. West Brom looked awesome against Liverpool. Tottenham Hotspur now have a striker. They are at home. Only a win will stop a Spurs apocalypse.
The Writer's Prediction League continues. Ashlock started it up up top with a perfect prediction, while there's a dogfight at the bottom for last place. The rules remain--one point for a correct prediction, a bonus point for getting the score correct. Here are the current standings:
| Name | Score |
| Ashlock | 2 |
| The Roosevelts | 1 |
| Kevin | 0 |
| Mechanick | 0 |
| Ryan | 0 |
| Ed | 0 |
| Petrilli | 0 |
| Uncle Menno | 0 |
This week's predictions after the jump:
Kevin: West Brom were good last week even before the red card, but that was at home. We'll be fine at the Lane, though I think WBA is a good side that won't let us off easy. 2-1 Spurs.
Mechanick: Gylfi goes H.A.M. and gets a brace. They ladies all get djamma in Iceland. 2-1 Spurs
Ryan: Tottenham have a striker, Tottenham will have goals, Tottenham will have three points. 3-1 Spurs
Ashlock: Well, Rosie said what I was going to say, so yeah. Cool. Spurs 3-1
The Roosevelts: Adebayor makes it rain on them [REDACTED] and Spurs win on the strength of a goal by Ade for every million we spent. After the game Adebayor just dances for awhile on the pitch. 5-1 Spurs
Ed: ADEBAYOR ON HIS WHITE HART LANE DEBU-... Oh, wait. Anyway, he still nets two. 2-0 Spurs
Petrilli: We have a striker, we're at home, Kaboul is out and Johnny Vertical and maybe even Caulker will be playing. Spurs 4-1
Uncle Menno: Adebayor opens the scoring early after being called for five offsides in the first 10 minutes. Odemwingie beats Old Man Gallas and His High Line (great band name!), sending the Commentariat into paroxysm -- this IS Tottenham, after all -- but in the 70th minute Gareth Bale drills a beauty from #batcountry for the 3 points. 2-1 Spurs
