Viewing from afar

Hey all, I'm an American who's (mostly) new to football, I've always kept half of an eye on the BPL and while I do watch the World Cup religiously, I've wanted to get into club play for a while now. At first I looked at teams like Chelsea, City, and United but it just didn't...feel right. And while I couldn't get a chance to go to the game in Baltimore (I live in Maryland) I did watch it online and I think I've found my club. It fits in a weird way. All that being said, I'm obviously brand new to the traditions of Hotspur football, and while I have a general understanding of where the team is at the moment, I won't be playing armchair manager for quite a while. However, I still want to watch, and with the season about to start I wanted to know what those in this community would recommend I do to keep up with the team. I'll be reading the site plenty, but I'm going back to college in the fall and what can I do to watch games (this is the big one) and learn more of the traditions of the team? And if nothing else, thanks for keeping a site like this running and active.
