Now that we're ~80% sure that we're getting AVB, I want to know how his formation fits to Tottenham. Assuming he keeps his preferred 4-3-3, I'm a little unclear on how that applies to our players. Seeing as I became a fan during the Redknapp era, my knowledge of tactics is limited to 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 and FRAAB.

Unless I'm unclear on this part, I don't think the back 4 are tremendously affected by the change. Something like this is what I imagine (ignoring backups for the time-being, who knows who we keep):

BAE-Kaboul-Vertical-Walker

The midfield is where it gets tricky. If the 3 is composed of a destroyer, a playmaker, and an advanced midfielder, i think we go with this:

Sandro-Modric-Gylfi/VDV

The forward 3 is where I'm running into trouble. I have no clue who the hell is supposed to play up front. I'm assuming it's some iteration of this

Bale-STRIKER-??????

If someone can shed light on how the 4-3-3 fits into what we're doing, I'd like that loads.
