Curious as to what world football games you all would most like to attend. Obviously as a Spurs fan seeing a game at WHL, especially a NLD, is at the top of my list. Seeing Spurs at Wembley would also be a dream come true. But besides Spurs where else would you like to take in a match?
My list
1. Old Firm at Celtic Park. Not the greatest quality of football in the world, but unmatched passion and atmosphere. Arguably the biggest rivalry in all of sports.
2. Revierderby at the Wesfalenstadion. Great rivalry, good football, and great fans.
I would pay so much to stand on this terrace
3. Portland Timbers v Seattle Sounders at Jeld Wen. I grew up in Oregon and it bums me out so much that the Timbers weren't in MLS when I still lived there. Again not the greatest quality, but probably the best atmosphere you're going to see in the US. This is probably the most realistic choice on my list for the near future.
4. Ajax v PSV at the Amsterdam Arena. Partying in Amsterdam and then singing Bob Marley with 50k Ajax fans? Count me in.
Anybody else have a list?
