I'm going to be honest, guys. This game doesn't feel real. It doesn't feel like there's a game today. But there is a game today, and it's a big one. It's a real competitive fixture in the Premier League against a decent team. They're not good away at home, but they're good at our weakness -- set pieces. We've lost three league games in a row. Our next league game is against Chelsea. This is a huge game and Tottenham Hotspur need a win. And it doesn't feel real.
I can only hope the team is a lot more focused than I am. Here are the lineups.
Tottenham Hotspur Lineup (4-4-1-1): Friedel; Assou-Ekotto, King, Kaboul, Walker; Bale, Modric, Parker, Kranjcar; Van der Vaart; Saha
Stoke City Lineup (4-4-2): Begovic; Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson; Pennant, Diao, Palacios, Walters; Crouch, Jerome
The good news for Spurs is that there is no throwing ace on the pitch. No Shotton, no Delap. Our team is the exact team I would have picked, provided Bale is the left winger.
Kickoff is at 3:45 p.m. ET, 7:45 p.m. GMT. It's not on television anywhere, but I'd prefer that you guys didn't discuss alternative means in the thread. Thanks for understanding, bros.
