I probably should have made this a Fanshot earlier, but I didn't. Oh well. As part of this whole social media gig I get to see what gets mentioned to the CFC Twitter feed and this article was sent this morning by @KOSleisure, which seems to be an aggregator of information based in Kent or a media consortium. In any case they mentioned the site and a link to this article by Joe Bill of Kent News.

The Internet has been inundated recently with people's perspectives on what happened on Saturday but this one is well worth the read. Coupled with Kevin's post from earlier from the Guardian it illustrates just how incredible everything that happened Saturday was. An excerpt after the jump.

The term “everything has been put into perspective” is often over used. But never has it been more fitting than at 6pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Midway through the lambasting of another refereeing decision against their team, Spurs fans turned to face Fabrice Muamba as he slumped to the floor.

Contrary to some reports, no-one shouted for him to “get up” which is often the retort when an opposition player throws himself to the ground at White Hart Lane.

The realisation of the situation was almost immediate. With his hands crumpled underneath his body, not protecting his face as he hit the ground, 36,000 people knew that there was something very wrong with the Bolton number six.

Most of the stuff he talked about was picked up on television but to hear it from his perspective and the fact that he saw everything happen the way it did is amazing. The personal aspect of this account drove home, at least for me, just hw terrifying this must have been for every single person in the stadium that day.

There's been good news recently concerning Muamba and long may it continue.
