Wayne Rooney Conspiring To Take Down Spurs

If you don't think that Manchester United were taking Tottenham Hotspur seriously as title contenders, think again. Once the news that Harry Redknapp was found not guilty and Fabio Capello was stepping down as England manager, Wayne Rooney saw his opening and began conspiring conspiring to take Spurs down via the tweeter machine

Gutted capello has quit. Good guy and top coach. Got to be english to replace him. Harry redknapp for me.

Why else would Rooney say such a thing except to throw a legitimate title contender into a tizzy? It's a clever move, Wayne.

Elsewhere, Jack Wilshere thinks Capello leaving is a blow to England, which can only lead me to believe that this is brilliant for the Three Lions.

The above is all tongue-in-cheek, except for the final sentence. That's just sound logic.

I think we need an English manager now, we don’t need anything else lost in translation….Harry Redknapp would be my choice by a distance.

I hate Man united..

As much as this sounds bad, I hope (if we don’t win the league) Citeh win the league. That would piss off soo many Man U fans and the team,it would be beautiful. Also Rio needs a slap, lost in translation…idiot

It’s stupid for all these guys to come out with their choices. Now if Harry doesn’t get it the new guy will be in an awkward position.

Ugh...

The timing makes you wonder. Capello out the day of/after Harry’s aquittal? Doesn’t bode well, IMO, but we’ll see what Levy can do.

Mourino’s been whining for a return to the EPL, but we’d never be able to fund what he would need, unless he wants a challenge, although he’d be my choice to replace Harry at this point. Only problem would be that he would expect some kind of tactics from the players and probably wouldn’t be a ‘free’ with the team play as Harry has been. But at least he can write out a team sheet (I think).

In addition

Wasn’t Mourinho the one who froze VDV out at Real Madrid in the first place. Plus “The Special One” likes to be given a war chest to buy players when he arrives. Don’t see old Danny boy doing this.

Suns & Spurs (not San Antonio) fan.

TAPPING UP!!!!!

Seriously, isn’t this the equivalent of tapping up?

Tottenham Hotspurs, Penn State, and Winthrop are the only things that made me cry in my adult life.

No

It’s a weird dichotomy.
