Hazard Says No Spurs Deal... Yet
Remember how the Tottenham Hotspur universe exploded yesterday when reports came out that Eden Hazard was being transferred from Lille to Spurs? Well, the Belgian international said on his native TV Show La Tribune that no such deal has taken place yet.
"I have not signed anything at Tottenham," Hazard said. "Maybe I will play there next season. It is a nice club with a lot of good players and absolutely a top coach."
But Hazard continued to talk up Tottenham, putting the appeal of a White Hart Lane arrival up against the prestige of a La Liga move.
"The opportunities would be much smaller. The competition would be strong at Tottenham too, but less so that at Barca or Real. I think I can learn the most in England. You play a big game every week and the atmosphere is great."
"The transfer is still pending. I have not signed anything yet, but I hope it will happen in the near future."
Hazard's statements seem to put the whole transfer saga into clearer focus. Tottenham is becoming an enticing club with its recent winning and with Champions League football looking an extremely likely prospect. Hazard looks a certainty to move this summer, and with his interest in England, Champions League football, title contention, and regular playing time, Tottenham seems a near perfect fix.
Obviously, the price and wages will be an issue, but Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy has shown a willingness to break the wage structure for top class players (e.g. Luka Modric), and the Champions League money could do well to help fund a war chest for this summer. We here at CFC are saying that nothing is official for Hazard, but keep your eye on a potential transfer after the season.

It's still cold out here
Why are we starting summer transfer rumors already?

"We" didn't start them brah
If Junior Hoilett was talking, I wouldn’t post it. But someone said “Hazard is moving”.

I don't know why,
But Tropic Thunder pops in my head when you wrote “we”
I don’t blame you for writing this, but my heart can take anymore “big transfer” disappointment with Spurs right now.

The best thing about Hazard
Is you can make puns off his first and last name. We can’t let an opportunity like this pass us by.
Imagine the beer!
Every time I hear “Belgian international” I will get so thirsty.

Speaking of it only being February

The Premier League outfit will have to option to sign Uvini on a permanent contract for €3.7 million, assuming that the 20-year-old impresses in his short spell at White Hart Lane.
I wonder
Would this guy even get a work permit? He’s got no senior caps and has only appeared for Brazil’s U-20 team.

wikipedia says...
that he holds an Italian passport.
father Italian?
Thanks
That would explain why we’d even try this. Evidently he was the captain of Brazil’s U-20 team. probably worth a punt. I hear the Brazilians are decent at soccer.

Wait, what?
Can we even do this? Like, window’s closed, dudes. So confused…

Sure we can
He’s only on trial and can’t play with the first team.

as has been mentioned...
loan window remains open a lot longer than transfer window.
A quick google search reveals that he was a reported Wenger target, too.
You'd know this if you played FM12, Sleep.
I’ve done wonders with late loans in FM12 with lower-level sides.

I didn't quote all of the revelant info sorry
With the European winter transfer window having already passed, Uvini is not eligible to play for the Tottenham’s first-team, but the Brazilian will have the opportunity to impress Harry Redknapp in the reserves.

Okay, so which is it:
A) He’s on trial & can’t play in the first team, OR
B) He’s on loan & can’t play on the first team, OR
C) He’s on loan & can play wherever he likes, dammit, OR
D) He’s on trial for his life, & only a lowly public defender fresh out of a second-rate law school can save him.

No wonder he's in the fucking reserves

Again
there is no place for him in the team if Bale and Rafa are still here so either we decide to move on from Rafa or Barcelona break the bank for Bale. If not, all three are not getting in the same team, which is pretty stupid to spend 20m+ so you can not play him with your two other stars.

can't he play on the right wing in a 4-2-3-1, or a 4-4-1-1?
Basically in place of Lennon, and then also be cover for when Rafa is getting his horse placenta injections?
I think so
The step-up Luka has shown defensively means that he and Parker could play deep in such a formation. Would need to get more defensive though versus top class sides.

With CL Next year
And injuries there will be plenty of football for Hazard. I also have the feeling that he may be the type of talent you find a place for, even if he doesn’t easily fit.
Just like Rafa!
