According to Windy

Spurs likely formation 4-2-3-1: Miles; Barthram, Veljkovic, Nicholson, Stewart; Luongo, Munns; Gomelt, Pritchard, Coulthirst; Coulibaly

No sponsors on the kits.

It’s Spurs looking as God intended them to look.

Is Pritchard 10?

Luongo 7?

Got really lucky there.

Looks like Liverpool have a Jr. Andy Carroll in their squad.

Looked more like Ade

10000 touches in the box without letting the shot off.

15 minutes in and still no score.

My stream stops every 4 seconds so I have no idea which team looks better.

It's pretty even.

Both sides getting chances, possession is about 50/50.

Cameron Lancaster.

Youth striker. Wasn’t terrible out there yesterday, and nearly had a goal. (Side netting.)

Liverpool looked the better side

I’m guessing Kane and Carroll had been a big part of this team before their loans?

by ChadUESSpurs on Feb 1, 2012 7:51 PM GMT up reply actions

Saw Carroll score on his debut on MOTD yesterday

did a nice job pouncing on a ball inside the pelanty area.

Agreed, Spurs really need to step it up.

WHo was the last player to play first team football for Spurs who played on this team?

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 7:53 PM GMT reply actions

Luongo missed that penalty against Stoke to send us out of the Carling Cup.

Pritchard’s been on the bench a few times, don’t think he’s seen the field though.

Agrees to take penalty, misses it.

Yeah I'm not blaming him.

Just putting him in context so john would remember him. The context just happens to be unfortunate.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Feb 1, 2012 8:01 PM GMT up reply actions

Yea, I remember Luongo from that. I meant to ask who was the last player to really play for us in league games, not be the 8th penalty shooter in a CC match we didn’t care about.

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 8:05 PM GMT up reply actions

That will be Pav's epitath:

“His context just happened to be unfortunate.”

lulz, Cissé scores, that is awesome

Two of them would be confusing.

This is the other Cisse, isn’t it?

You all say this now, but 77% of you people voted against him (and me) yesterday.

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 8:23 PM GMT up reply actions

Yeah he is.

But he’s so physically dominant compared to our defenders. And Veljkovic is only 16. I wonder if he would still be good against grownups that he couldn’t physically bully as easily.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Feb 1, 2012 8:17 PM GMT up reply actions

He looks slow and unbalanced to me

I think his success in this game has been a result of his size.

by ChadUESSpurs on Feb 1, 2012 8:19 PM GMT up reply actions

Liverpool: CANNOT FINISH.

How many open nets are they going to get?!

Spurs were passing it around the box, and it fell for someone whose name I don’t know, who hit a straight shot at the keeper who fumbled it. Coulthrist pounced and kicked it in.

by Squid on Feb 1, 2012 8:36 PM GMT up reply actions

Now Sterling...

He’s looked the best player for Pool for me

by ChadUESSpurs on Feb 1, 2012 8:37 PM GMT reply actions

Seriously, I would love to have Sessegnon on Spurs.

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 8:41 PM GMT up reply actions

Ideally, Rafa backup, which he's too good for.

But he could also do a job on the wing, where he’d be wasted. So yeah, it sucks.

By the way we have signed 18-year-old Giancarlo Gallifuoco from Australia. Our staff sees him as a holding midfielder or centre back.

5th, Newcastle.
6th, Liverpool.
7th, Arsenal.

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 9:51 PM GMT reply actions

Newcastle 3 points back from Chelsea.

It’s pretty unlikely, but how amazing would it be if Newcastle managed to claim 4th and Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all missed out on CL football??

by Jellyfeast on Feb 1, 2012 9:55 PM GMT up reply actions

I’d love it. The best scenario possible.

by johnf34 on Feb 1, 2012 9:57 PM GMT up reply actions

Addendum:

Best scenario possible is this, plus Spurs do the double.

by The Sleeper's Sleep on Feb 1, 2012 9:58 PM GMT up reply actions

please god

let there be a top 4 containing United, City, Newcastle and us.

by CrestOfAWave on Feb 1, 2012 9:57 PM GMT up reply actions

100% neutral on Newcastle typically, but I’m all in on them for the last 15 matches. COYM!!!
