Fernando Llorente is also linked for months---Atletico Bilbao says they won't sell him despite all reports saying otherwise

What does everyone attribute the rumors to? Just rubbish newspaper talk, driving up the price or my theory, are we waiting to see where we stand in January to decide whether to buy or not? I think if we lose 3 in a row or 4 in a row that there won't be reinforcements but if we are still level for 3rd or 4th then the purse strings will be loosened.

Eriksen does not want to sign a new deal with Ajax and said he will stay with Ajax for as long as he can to help the club (get a higher fee). Llorente can leave for free in summer and sign a pre-contract in January so it only makes sense for Bilbao to get a return for him. Moutinho aspires to play in a world class league and unless Barca or PSG make plays for him, I can't see him moving anywhere besides us. With 20 mil available and probably 10 from sales of fringe players and hopefully Huddlestone, I think 30 million can buy two of these players but for the next 2 weeks the smoke and mirrors will continue. I want to hear everyone's thoughts about the rumors.
