Spurs open up in a classic 4-4-2, but with a WTF twist: William Gallas is starting over Steven Caulker, and paired with Vertonghen, with Kyle Naughton getting the start wide left. Dempsey will start in midfield on the left in place of the injured Gareth Bale. Manny Adebayor and Jermain Defoe start up top for Spurs.
It appears that Michael Laudrup's side will start in a 4-4-1-1 (or perhaps a 4-4-2?), with Michu in the hole as the go-to attacking threat.
