Come chat with CFC as Tottenham look to turn their form around with a win against West Ham.
Happy Spursday, Spursland! Today, Tottenham Hotspur take on West Ham United at home. We're in need of a win after a bad run of form has taken us down to eighth place in the table, and West Ham is a team we should be able to beat at home. However, Sam Allardyce is a master of the garbage road draw, and he has his team playing very well at the moment.
Andre Villas-Boas has made a couple of changes to his team, most notably bringing in Michael Dawson.
Tottenham Hotspur starting XI (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Jan Vertonghen, Steven Caulker, Michael Dawson, Kyle Walker; Sandro, Tom Huddlestone; Gareth Bale, Clint Dempsey, Aaron Lennon; Jermain Defoe
West Ham starting XI (4-4-2): Jussi Jaaskelainen; Joey O'Brien, Winston Reid, James Tomkins, George McCartney; Mark Noble, Kevin Nolan, Mohamed Diame, Gary O'Neil; Modibo Maiga, Andy Carroll
I'm very much in support of Dawson regaining his place, given William Gallas' recent shaky form. Emmanuel Adebayor is unavailable through suspension.
Kickoff is at 4 p.m. local time, 11 a.m. ET. You can catch the game on FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Soccer 2 Go in the US. Sadly, there is no TV coverage in the UK or Canada.
