Officially Official: Wolverhampton Wanderers Sign Sebastien Bassong On Loan
Tottenham Hotspur have completed a move that no one had even considered at the beginning of the day, sending Sebastien Bassong on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers, at least according to Wolves official site (it's now on the Tottenham site as well). The move will be only until the end of the season and will, potentially, offer Bassong with an opportunity to play some first team football.
Bassong could see time immediately at left back as Stephen Ward has been less than spectacular for Wolves this season. Bassong may have a harder time to breaking in to the rotation at center back with Christophe Berra, Roger Johnson and Richard Stearman seem fairly firmly entrenched.
This is a good move for Bassong and could help increase his value if he plays regularly and plays well for Wolves. Wolves can certainly use the versatile young defender. The problem is that Tottenham are now a bit short of cover at the back. Hopefully, this means that there is someone coming in. Just so long as the someone isn't Ryan Nelson.

Seb...
… can say HEY to O’Hara and they can high-five and talk shit about Spurs and how they never got a chance.
Although I do wish him the best, mostly so we can find a suitor in the summer to pawn him off on.
O'hara is Spurs, through and through!!!
It’s a massive shame he isn’t good enough to break into current midfield…BUT he knew it, hence leaving to maintain his career. He actively talks about wanting us to do well, I doubt he’d talk shit about us. I hope in years to come, he’ll improve and come back. <3 O’hara !!
I play for the Cucamonga Cracker Killers. You want tickets...

Really hoping BAE isn't suspended retroactively
Danny Rose has potential, but dude is not the best defender I’ve ever seen. It would have been a longshot for Seb to even get a run out though.
Suns & Spurs (not San Antonio) fan.

Oh, wait. That’s Ryan NelsEn. You’re good, then.
