Tottenham Hotspur have announced that their FA Cup fixture with League One side Stevenage will be played on Sunday February 19. Kickoff will be at 2 PM local time. Also, the match will be broadcast live on ITV1.
Tottenham will make the trip to Broadhall Way in hopes of continuing their cup run, but Harry Redknapp and his team will have to be wary of Stevenage. The Boro won the League 2 playoffs last season and are, at this point, in the playoff spots in League One. As Watford proved in the last round, there are no easy matches in the FA Cup and playing away is particularly difficult.
This match comes crammed into a tough stretch in Tottenham's schedule. First, Tottenham play away to Liverpool, then host Newcastle. The FA Cup date follows those two games. After that Spurs travel to the Emirates to play Arsenal and then host Manchester United. I wouldn't be surprised to see another slightly weaker side from Spurs, especially given that run of games.
