Louis Saha Loan From Everton To Tottenham Reportedly Close To Done

Sahadonedeal_medium

Multiple twitter reports from the Times and the BBC say Louis Saha to Tottenham is a done deal. That thing Kevin wished wasn't a thing is a thing. Not the ideal way to start the transfer deadline for me at least. More to come on this when more information arises.

I don’t know enough about Saha, but Levy is doing things the right way.

Saha is a decent all rounder.

Fairly pacey, good in the air, had a solid Goal scoring record in past Premier League Seasons with Fulham and Man United.

Not so prolific nowadays, mainly due to injury and quite possibly the way Everton play.

If kept fit, could be very useful.

At first, I thought this was an awful signing . . .

But as a temporary, non-commital replacement for Pav until the summer, this could be a masterstroke by Levy.

Maybe he won’t aim for Row Z… I think he will try to get the bouncey sphereical thing in the back that net thing.

many thanks

If this works out I want to thank you guys for taking Saha off our hands 2 goals in 20 games plus is ability to miss open nets will be sorely missed

Don't hate it

It’s a low-risk, high-upside loan. Basically, with the nagging injuries JD has had this gives us another option late in the match instead of Pav.

I concur

He can also lead the line like Adebayor, whereas Pav can’t. He can also score headers whereas JD (generally) can’t.

Plus, Redknapp does transform players; David James, Glen Johnson, Kaboul, Diarra, and Crouchie all shined at Portsmouth after being rejected by major clubs.
