Krasic has looked like utter garbage today for Juventus

He just blew a great chance to win the game in stoppage time.

Pretty amazing how many draws they have this year but they still haven’t even lost in the league.

Who is this Miguel guy on D for Arsenal?

by johnf34 on Jan 15, 2012 4:19 PM GMT reply actions

Miquel

Central defender playing fullback

by Sabrina Dessipe on Jan 15, 2012 4:20 PM GMT up reply actions

That seems to be a recurring theme for you guys.

by Alec_Kamas on Jan 15, 2012 4:21 PM GMT up reply actions

That's what happens when you don't have any fullbacks

Sagna will be back soon. Last season Miquel was reserve captain.

by Sabrina Dessipe on Jan 15, 2012 4:22 PM GMT up reply actions

Crazy how we’re 21 matches in after today.

by johnf34 on Jan 15, 2012 4:26 PM GMT reply actions

Caulker lost him

Ashley Williams was way up the pitch.

by Alec_Kamas on Jan 15, 2012 4:32 PM GMT up reply actions

No

They keep the ball and are much more solid at the back.

by Alec_Kamas on Jan 15, 2012 4:36 PM GMT up reply actions

You might want to tell that to Swansea’s CBs today

yep

our best passing player is out today too. I hope he’s back for next week.

by Sabrina Dessipe on Jan 15, 2012 4:40 PM GMT up reply actions

Wilshere.

What’s the word on him?

by Alec_Kamas on Jan 15, 2012 4:40 PM GMT up reply actions

And Sagna, exactly how close is he?

by johnf34 on Jan 15, 2012 4:41 PM GMT up reply actions

So, after he plays that game, how long is he do to be out from his next injury?

NotThoseSpurs.wordpress.com

by Mike_L_Goodman on Jan 15, 2012 4:49 PM GMT up reply actions

blech, meant to put that in the Jack chain, not the Sagna chain.

by Mike_L_Goodman on Jan 15, 2012 4:54 PM GMT up reply actions

Jack will be fit for the rest of the season

I don’t wish injury on your players leave mine alone!

by Sabrina Dessipe on Jan 15, 2012 4:55 PM GMT up reply actions

Lol sorry, wasn’t missing injuries on him, just suggesting he is fragile. (I’d say the same thing about Azza or VDV’s hamstrings).

He's not though

Jack isn’t usually injured all the time

by Sabrina Dessipe on Jan 15, 2012 4:57 PM GMT up reply actions

All right then. My impression was that he was, but you would certainly know better than me. I just recall constant bickering between Wenger and Capello about him where Wenger was worried Jack’s body couldn’t take the constant games.

NotThoseSpurs.wordpress.com

by Mike_L_Goodman on Jan 15, 2012 5:00 PM GMT up reply actions

He was in the fabled "red zone"

because he played nearly every game last season. He didn’t want Jack to be burnt out due to over work and that’s exactly what’s happened this season. THANKS CAPELLO!

Just took a call from my Dad saying my Grandma died at 10:15 am. Cheer on the Swans for me, I can’t do this right now.

Mertesacker just decided, “God, I’m not going to run all the way back to defend, I’ll just clumsily smack into this guy and then jog back on the free.” He’s hilarious.

heart of a champion, will of the warrior.

by cap'n hack on Jan 15, 2012 5:37 PM GMT reply actions

And now he’s been subbed out, despite being the only healthy Arsenal player who would be a defender if given the choice. Amazing.

I wasn’t going to speculate on Koscielny’s dream job, but I was pretty sure “Center Half” wasn’t the answer.

Big save from Vorm

Ashley Williams at fault again. Swans need a real CB

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Jan 15, 2012 5:43 PM GMT reply actions

Which is Amazing

When you consider how few goals theyve allowed

NotThoseSpurs.wordpress.com

by Mike_L_Goodman on Jan 15, 2012 5:44 PM GMT up reply actions

Vorm is a beast

But yeah, you’re right. I haven’t watched enough Swansea games to know if Ashley Williams is shit or just having a bad day. But his positioning and decision-making has been awful today.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Jan 15, 2012 5:46 PM GMT up reply actions

And their midfield are fantastic at holding the ball. Limits the amount of mistakes that backline have a chance to make.

Shut up, Arsene. He upsets me whenever he’s on camera.

Fair, but until he explodes, he’s absolutely unbearable to watch.

he just needs some PBR cans on the touchline

The midfield just pounces in defense. SWAN SWARM.

heart of a champion, will of the warrior.

by cap'n hack on Jan 15, 2012 5:53 PM GMT reply actions

That was too uncalled fouls in a row by Arsenal

Looked like Leroy took a boot to the face seconds after he came on.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Jan 15, 2012 5:54 PM GMT reply actions

what exactly was koscielny doing on swansea's goal?

just looked like he decided he was going to let graham score

by coys_from_wny on Jan 15, 2012 5:54 PM GMT reply actions

So, on a weekend where we drew Wolves at home, and Arsenal played a newly promoted side, we increased our lead over them. Beautiful.

heart of a champion, will of the warrior.

by cap'n hack on Jan 15, 2012 5:55 PM GMT reply actions

I was just about to say that

We don’t play our best, we drop points, and Arsenal falls ever further behind. I’ll take it.

by Joamiq on Jan 15, 2012 5:56 PM GMT up reply actions

unfortunately

They’re not our competition this season. We fell back in the title race since ManU won.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Jan 15, 2012 5:56 PM GMT up reply actions

Its a lot easier to focus on rooting for the title, when there’s a lot of cushion for a CL spot.

NotThoseSpurs.wordpress.com

by Mike_L_Goodman on Jan 15, 2012 5:57 PM GMT up reply actions

Agreed

I’d rather be looking just ahead rather than forward and back

by Joamiq on Jan 15, 2012 5:58 PM GMT up reply actions

Sure

But we don’t need to be looking over our shoulders at the teams behind us. We just need to keep getting results and hope the teams in front of us slip. Arsenal are irrelevant right now. WE ARE TITLE CONTENDERS.

by Lennon's Eyebrow on Jan 15, 2012 5:59 PM GMT up reply actions

Yeah, but a win at City solves that problem. All I want is to be in the race come March, when we have a string of very winnable games to close the season.

heart of a champion, will of the warrior.

I have a lot of respect for any promoted managers who come to the Prem trying to actually play football.

Just like Blackpool last year

Love the Swans. Playing attractive football and getting results. I agree, hope they stay up this year.

Blackpool were so much fun to watch.

Played every game so open. Shame their defense was such shit or they would have stayed up. Definitely have a soft spot for that club, hope they make it back up to the Prem someday. Much rather see that than West Ham and Big Sam’s hoofball

that is a large statement!!

But would totally understand if Arsenal did win, a revenge win, if you will, from earlier this season…..
