I'm going to be completely honest: I don't have anything to say about this game right now. It was excessively boring. The first 10 minutes where the team looked lively and fluid were interesting, and stoppage time was nerve-wracking as Carlo Cudicini made one brilliant save and PAOK hit the crossbar once. As for the other 75-80 minutes of the game? Cue the sad trombone.

Yes, it's encouraging that our kids and reserves went into a hostile environment, played a team who is at least respectable, and managed to get a draw. I'm definitely happy for Andros Townsend, Tom Carroll, Harry Kane and the like. I'm happy that the players that were disappointing on the night were our more senior players, and that the youngsters all held their own.
