Are you sick of Puma kits? I know I am. Though this year's home shirt is pretty solid, I think that Tottenham Hotspur's kits have been pretty rubbish for a couple of years now. This year's away kit sucks, and the yellow stripe thing last year was awful. And do you guys remember the brown shirts? Jesus!

Anyway, the Puma days are now over. Baltimore-based Under Armour is cracking the EPL market by becoming the kit and equipment provider of Tottenham Hotspur, starting in the 2012-2013 season. UA already has a deal with Hannover 96 of the German Bundesliga, and their kits don't look half bad. I'm fairly confident that Under Armour is going to make better kids than the awful Puma shirts we've had over the years.

Plus, this is probably a great deal financially. For Spurs to give up their current shirt maker and switch to a company that has not yet made shirts for Premier League clubs, Under Armour probably had to pony up a decent bit of cash. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but I'm willing to assume that this is a nice win for Daniel Levy and the club. Maybe now we can fund the NDP, amirite?
