Tottenham Hotspur Vs. Rubin Kazan, 2011 UEFA Europa League: Lineups And Live Match Thread

Stay connected for news and updates

Lennon returns!

Happy Spursday, Spursland! It's Thursday night, but we're no longer on Channel Five! If you live in the United Kingdom, you can now find this game on ITV. In any event, Tottenham Hotspur take on Rubin Kazan in the UEFA Europa League today, and this is your live match thread. I expect Pav memes up the ass today. Especially if he scores. Here is the Tottenham lineup.

Tottenham Hotspur Lineup (4-4-2): Gomes; Walker, Bassong, Livermore, Rose; Lennon, Carroll, Sandro, Giovani; Defoe, Pavlyuchenko

Substitutes from: Cudicini, Assou-Ekotto, Kaboul, Falque, Modric, Townsend, Kane

It's great to see Gomes get a look after getting apparently frozen out. Giovani dos Santos will come inside a lot from the left wing, so Danny Rose is going to need to have a big game. Jake Livermore as a central defender scares me. I am super confident in the midfield pairing of Sandro and Tom Carroll.

No Rubin lineup yet, but we'll post it in the comments when it shows up. The game is on DirecTV Soccer in the USA, which are the channels in the 480s. That's just on one provider, so alternative means are fine today. Kickoff is at 3:00 pm ET, 8:00 pm BST from White Hart Lane. COYS!
